Sinead trained as a cook in Toronto and started slow-cooking bone broth at home in 2018, partly out of curiosity, partly out of frustration with what was being sold. RIPE Lifestyle launched in 2020 in Toronto. The European arm opened in Lisbon in 2024 because the ingredients here are some of the best she has ever cooked with.
She picks the bones from the butcher in person. She walks to the organic market. She tests every recipe in her own kitchen before it goes on the site, often more than once. The 18-hour cook isn't a marketing number, it is how long it actually takes.
