RIPE Europe is operated from Lisbon, Portugal. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Portuguese Data Protection Act (Lei n.º 58/2019), RIPE Europe is the controller of any personal data you provide through this site. You can reach us at hello@ripelifestyle.eu for any privacy-related question or request.
We don't track you across the web. We don't run advertising pixels. We collect only the information you submit through the forms on this site, plus a minimal amount of technical data needed to run the website itself.

Your data goes only where it needs to go to do the job you asked us to do. Nothing more.
When you subscribe, we use your email and phone to send you batch drop alerts, order and pickup updates when you place an order, plus the occasional recipe or pop-up announcement. One unsubscribe click and we stop.
If you ask to be notified about a specific pop-up city, we use your email and phone to message you when an event is confirmed in that city. Nothing else.
When payments are enabled and you place an order, we use your contact and delivery details solely to fulfil that order and meet our legal accounting obligations.
We use a small set of trusted services to run the site and deliver messages. Each is bound by a data processing agreement, and each is GDPR-compliant. We never sell your data to anyone.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We do not run third-party analytics that profile you. The only cookies set on this site are strictly necessary cookies used by Netlify for security and form anti-spam protection, plus, when payments are enabled, Stripe's checkout session cookies during the few minutes you are completing a payment. None of these require consent under Portuguese law.
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@ripelifestyle.eu and we will action your request within 30 days. There is no charge.
You also have the right to complain to the Portuguese supervisory authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), at cnpd.pt, if you believe we have not handled your data correctly.
Subscriber data (name, email, phone, city, interests) is kept for as long as you remain subscribed, plus 30 days after you unsubscribe in case you change your mind. After that, we delete it from active systems. Order records and invoices are kept for the period required by Portuguese tax law (currently 10 years). Server logs are retained for up to 90 days for security and debugging.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top tells you when it last changed. Material changes will be communicated to subscribers by email. For any data question, just write to hello@ripelifestyle.eu and we'll get back to you.
