Batch 021 — Orders close in loading

Stay in the loop

Hear it
first.

When the next batch opens, subscribers hear from us first by email and WhatsApp, with a direct link to order. The batches are small, so getting the message early helps.

We'll send batch alerts and recipes here.

For batch drop alerts and order/pickup updates via WhatsApp. We won't message you for anything else.

Helps us prioritise pop-up cities.

No spam. No selling your details. Just broth, recipes, and the occasional pop-up announcement. You can unsubscribe at any time. By sharing your phone number you consent to receiving WhatsApp messages for batch drop alerts, order/pickup updates, and relevant pop-up announcements. See our privacy policy for details on how we handle your data.

What you get

01

Batch drop alerts

When a new batch opens, we send you a short message by email, WhatsApp, or both, with a direct link to order. Each batch is small, so getting the message early helps.

02

New recipes

Every batch comes with a recipe we've written ourselves, matched to whatever's in the current drop. Something worth making, not filler.

03

Pop-up announcements

When we're heading to your city, Paris, Berlin, Vienna, or wherever's next, subscribers hear first. Each event is small, so we like to give regulars a head start.

How it works

A message,
not a newsletter.

Email

Email notification

You'll get a short email, usually on the morning a batch opens. It includes the batch number, what's available, when the window closes, and a direct link to order. Nothing else.

WhatsApp

WhatsApp notification

If you've shared your WhatsApp number, we'll send a short message at the same time as the email. One message per batch. Something like: "Batch 004 is live — Liquid Gold, Beef, and a new Ginger Lemon. Closes Sunday 5pm. Order here: [link]."

We don't use WhatsApp for anything else. No groups. No broadcasts. One message per batch, one message per pop-up when it's your city.

Questions

A few things
people ask.

Roughly every two or three weeks, depending on ingredients, the kitchen schedule, and the season. Some months we do two batches, some we do one. We don't open a batch until the broth is ready.
Usually a few days, or until the batch is spoken for. Most batches sell out before the window closes, but we always try to give everyone a fair chance.
Not currently. Each batch is ordered fresh when the window opens. We're exploring subscription options but want to keep the batch model working first.
Yes, the batch page goes public when the window opens. Subscribers just get the link and notification a little earlier, which usually means they have a head start of half a day or so.
Not yet. Orders are collected from our Lisbon kitchen, or delivered locally within the city. We're working on a cold-chain option for wider Portugal and eventually other European cities, but it's not ready quite yet.

What people say

From our
subscribers.

Three months in and I cannot start a Tuesday without the Liquid Gold. My partner has stopped asking what's in the fridge.

— Sofia M., Lisbon

Got the batch alert at 9am, ordered four jars before coffee. Made the caldo verde on Sunday. Closest thing I've had to my grandmother's.

— Anna R., Porto

I bring jars of the mushroom broth to dinner parties now. People ask where I got it and I look slightly smug. The risotto it makes is unreal.

— Laura K., Berlin
